Ms. Magazine Cover Design

For this project the goal was to create a cover for a magazine. I choose to design a cover for the Ms. magazine.

 

The style for the cover was inspired by the punk feminist movement from the 1990s. If you know your history there is also a shoutout to Hanna Kathleen the lead singer of the band Bikini Kills that helped lead the movement with her band and their song Rebel Girl. Included in the design is also shoutouts to the hashtags movement and the recent controversy over the Roe vs. Wade case.
