Hello
My name is Brooke Celene De Blaey or B. Celene. I am currently a student at NWTC for multiple different programs. Outside of my schoolwork and full time job I enjoy working on my illustrations and photography. I am also very passionate about Muay Thai and learning new skills. I have a love for the outdoors, my favorite activities include gardening and kayaking when I'm not sitting down with a good book.
My Story
As a young child I was always interested in the arts. When I got to high school I began working for a small local sound company working small concerts in the area. I fell in love with it and decided I wanted to go to school for it. I decided to attend NWTC for their Digital Media Technology program to gain skills in live sound and video. I quickly realized that I could also do the Audio Recording certificate and Technical Diploma for Video Production with only a few extra classes. I then decided I also wanted to try the Graphic Design program and I quickly fell in love with illustrations.
I particularly love creating illustrative designs featuring people and using a lot of contrasting colors to make the piece stand out. One of my biggest inspirations for my pieces is Malika Favre, I aspire to be able to create works of art that are just as amazing and beautiful as hers. I am also working on creating motion graphics with my pieces.
